YES!  YOU!

are you looking for a new spot?  how about a challenge?  how about a good community?

have you considered florence, alabama?

florence is a small city with big stuff.

we're known all over the world for music and fashion.  florence is home to grammy award winners, cfda honorees... and we'll probably have a james beard nominee or two before it's all said and done.  our residents support the arts and love to contribute to our living history.

WE'RE OFF THE BEATEN PATH... KINDA.

wE'RE IN THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF ALABAMA, A BEAUTIFUL STATE WITH HISTORY POURING OUT OF IT'S EARS!  LOCALS LIKE TO JOKE THAT WE'RE "TWO HOURS FROM EVERYTHING".  IT's true.  tWO HOURS TO BIRMINGHAM, NASHVILLE, MEMPHIS, CHATTANOOGA.  MUCH LESS TO TUPELO AND HUNTSVILLE!  YOU HAVE TO BE TRAVELING HERE TO FIND US, BUT IT'S NOT HARD TO FIND ANYWHERE ELSE.

you can afford to be creative.  really!

the cost of living in florence is lower than you are probably used to.  for some, it's significantly lower.  some of us take a lot of joy in telling others what we bought/rent a place for.  jaws tend to drop.  do you want freedom to take a few more chances and try something new?  cost of living is usually the biggest obstacle.  not here.

Did we mention music history?

our claim to fame here is music.  past and present.  right across the river is muscle shoals, a town immortalized with gold records and rediscovered by many due to a popular documentary.  some of the most popular and enduring records of all time were recorded in our area.  we're still making history today... and you can join us.

new york, london, paris, florence.

ask gq, esquire, southern living, garden & gun or the new york times.  they'll tell you what we already know:  florence is the fashion capital of the south.  we're home to two cfda award winners, billy reid and natalie chanin of alabama chanin.  we've become a curious epicenter in the landscape of the fashion industry.  if these folks can make florence a fashion destination, think about what you can make!
