ABOUT SINGLE LOCK RECORDS

Single Lock was dreamt up in 2013 and in the time since, we’ve released nearly 40 records that don’t fit neatly into a specific category. Our goal is to gather and release an interesting and accurate collection of the best of Southern American music.

Our home base is Florence/Muscle Shoals, Alabama, a historic place that values great songs and great musicians. We strive to uphold that standard. Our roster of artists is a diverse, eclectic set of accomplished musicians with something to say and the skills to say it.

In 2020, we opened an office in New Orleans, Louisiana. We also responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by establishing the Advocacy Fund for Alabama Musicians, distributing over $10,000 in no-strings-attached relief grants to Alabama musicians (so far).

The standard of this company is excellence and decency. This informs everything we do, from the label operations to our recording studio to our A&R to our social initiatives and all the way down to the way we treat people. We aim to be a cut above. Our team is made up of musicians, business people, creatives and dreamers that go the extra mile to bring you exceptional art.
