Introducing Rock Eupora with a new single-- available now!

DISH ISLAND COVER.jpg

Clayton Waller, the Mississippi-raised, Nashville-based artist known as Rock Eupora, creates a unique blend of gritty rock and shimmering pop. Waller has developed his fuzz pop sound over the course of three full-length albums and an EP – which he wrote, performed, and produced himself.

After the 2019 EP Twirlin’, a sugar rush of grit and gloss that Waller describes as a break in the “regularly scheduled programming” of Rock Eupora, he returns to the more heart-on-your-sleeve, earnest qualities of his songwriting with new singles Hurts to Laugh and Dish Island.

Clayton speaks about “Dish Island”, the new single out now:

Dish Island is out today! It’s a song about feeling stuck. Powerless. Learning to live and laugh alongside feelings of discouragement and insignificance. A nearly hysterical level of determination to stay motivated. Shrugging it off. Taking it in stride. Leaning into your fears, learning to be near. Embracing the grind. You know, normal life things!  Right guys?? Right?!?

This is the first track of a 2 song series. Think of it as a digital 7”. Join me as we journey to the bright side of existential dread! *bell rings* Next class, we will continue this discussion from a different angle (and with a new song)!
